What is aged garlic extract?
Fresh garlic bulbs are aged for 24 months, which mellows their sharp smell and taste. The aged garlic is then concentrated into an extract standardised to 1.8 mg S-allyl cysteine (SAC) per serving, so every batch contains the same amount.
What does 20:1 extract mean?
Twenty parts of garlic were concentrated into one part of extract. Each daily dose contains 600 mg of that extract, equivalent to 12,000 mg of fresh garlic bulb. The 12,000 mg on the label describes that equivalent amount of garlic.
Will I smell of garlic?
It is made to be odourless. The 24-month ageing removes most of the sharp garlic smell, the softgel is delayed-release, and parsley seed oil is added for freshness.
What is the difference between ubiquinol and CoQ10?
Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10. Most CoQ10 supplements use ubiquinone, the oxidised form. Each daily dose contains 100 mg of CoQ10 as ubiquinol, dissolved in MCT oil.
What if I miss a day?
Take your usual 2 softgels the next day. Do not double up to make up for it.
